Housing Services for Tenants

If you are an NDG resident, our community worker in housing can help you with information on tenant's rights and can support you in advocating for your housing needs. Referrals to additional resources are also available.  You can meet with our community worker at the following times and locations:


At the NDG Community Council
Monday  from 9am to 1pm
Wednesday from 9am to 1pm

Tuesday from 2 pm to 5 pm
Friday from 10 am to 1 pm
Drop-in, no appointment required

TO BE INVOLVED IN HOUSING ISSUES IN NDG
FOR RESIDENTS

The council encourages NDG citizens to get involved in the issues most important to them. You have 2 ways to particitpate:

  1. Volunteering for the NDG Tenants' housing service. Sign up HERE
  2. Join the committee for a housing service in NDG, contact us at  (514) 484-1471 
FOR COMMUNITY GROUPS
  1. TheNDG Housing Tablebrings tenants' rights groups, co-ops, community organisations, non-profit housing co-ordinators and developers together to share information and work on collective solutions to local housing issues. Together they develop a strategy for healthy, affordable housing for all residents in NDG. 
  2. Participate in the NDG Community strategic planning
