Thanksgiving LunchWelcome to NDG is an information and referral project for new residents created in partnership between the Comite Action 6-12, the Table de Concertation Jeunesse NDG (Youth Table), the Commission Scolaire de Montreal (CSDM) and the NDG Community Council.

WHAT WE DO

The objective of the project is to facilitate the integration of immigrant families into the NDG neighbourhood. Welcome to NDG helps newcomers to access community services and participate in NDG community life.

To reach newcomers, Welcome to NDG:

• Has information kiosks at schools and summer camps in NDG
With these activities the project provides information to immigrant families about services and activities in NDG. There we identify challenges facing organizations involved with integration of newcomers.

• Organizes and supports social events and information activities with families in NDG
These activities help us to relieve the isolation of families and facilitate community participation.
