The NDG Community Council is an organization that acts to promote, improve and sustain the well-being of the NDG community and its residents.

The NDG Community Council is a hub of community information and networking in NDG. It works with citizens and organisations, through community organising and support, to address issues of concern and to find solutions. The Council focuses on quality of life, social justice issues and the involvement of Notre-Dame-de-Grâce residents.

Our initiatives are based on the principles of the participation of citizens, and the inclusion and the cooperation of all concerned parties in:
• Identifying needs and concerns;
• Establishing priorities;
• Making decisions about actions to address these concerns;
• Taking action;
• Ensuring responsibility and accountability for decisions and actions taken;
• Enjoying and benefiting from local community life.
