| Becoming a Volunteer |
|
The NDG Community Council relies on the efforts of dozens of committed volunteers to achieve As always the importance of volunteers is critical to the success of the Council. Office work such as answering the phone, data entry, correcting maps and filing are tasks that are important for the action oriented work that we do. We would like to thank the many volunteers who support us. There are also the important contributions of community residents that support the work of the Council through participating on the board and action committees. One of the functions of the Council is to get to know people who want to volunteer and refer them to other organizations and places that fit their skill set. These individuals come from NDG community and surrounding areas and have lots of energy and skills to offer. They need to find places where these gifts can be offered to benefit the entire community.
